JIRA Reporting & JQL Self-Paced eLearning
As the name suggests, the JIRA Reporting and JQL course focuses on two popular features of the product - data reporting and using the JIRA Query Language (JQL). The course starts with a "coding by example" approach to explaining JQL, including structuring your queries, setting up browser shortcuts to increase efficiency, understanding field references, using filters with JQL and some of the most popular functions. The approach we've used explains the query syntax in the context of where it might be used, to give participants a practical understanding of JQL. The Reporting section of this training course comprehensively covers every one of the different project reports in the product, plus the charts, and each of the reports that are available as gadgets. We wrap-up with some tips on taking JIRA data into Excel, and using a simple Pivot Table to visualize your data effectively.
This eLearning course covered the same content as our live JIRA Reporting & JQL course, but offers the convenience of allowing you to go through the material on your own time. The course is self-paced and can be taken at any time and on your schedule. You can start and stop at anytime and resume were you left off. Easy course navigation allows you to skip around to topics most relevant to you, making this course a great resource that can be used as a reference over and over again.
The course is designed to take about 3 hours, but due to the nature of the design, it could take you more or less time depending on how you use the course.
This course assumes either prior participation in the JIRA Fundamentals training course, or extensive experience as an end-user of JIRA. We also highly recommend attending the JIRA Administrators course before attending this session.
