Distinguishing scrum and kanban

In our JIRA Software Advanced course, we teach customers how to use the agile functionality of JIRA to work most effectively as a Scrum or Kanban team. While we have a quick few slides on What is Scrum, Kanban, Story Points, etc, we do not have the time to go into detail. There's just too much great stuff in the tool itself and we need to get right into it. For the most part, we assume that companies already know which agile methodology they are using or plan to use. Sometimes, they roll out agile at the same time they roll out JIRA Software (that includes the Agile board functionality). So if your company is still wondering whether to go Scrum and Kanban and why, this good article might be helpful: Best Agile Method For Your Team: Scrum Vs. Kanban. Learn about just-in-time development and Scrum's Organized Uncertainty. Then once ready to go agile, we've got great courses to help you do get the most with agile in JIRA.
